Version 7 Installation Instructions.

If you are an existing user of Version 6 of the software please contact 
Matt_Moser@MoserSoft.com, as you will need a conversion performed.

** As always - Have a good back-up of your data, and your software before beginning an installation **


** First Time Users of Version 7 **
- Users who have never added or updated any lot or Burial information using CES VERSION 7 or better ** 
Click the link on the left that says " New Startup Data"
This link allows you to load first time data into a folder on your PC called "C:\ProgramData\CESByMoserSoft\"

If you are already on Version 7, do not run the step above, as it will overlay your data.


** All Users **
1) If you are installing Version 7 for the first time, please click and execute the link that 
   says "Software Setup ".  Follow the prompts.
   
   This installs all the base components you need to start.  It is the foundation on which any 
   updates are applied.  Picture a house being built - It's the foundation/ground floor.

2) Click the link that says "Latest Updates". Follow the 
   prompts.  Note(If you do step 1, you must follow with Step 2).
   Picture Step 2 as the upstairs floors on the foundation/ground floor, so if you put the
   foundation again, it wipes out your second floor to your house, and you need to re-apply
   the latest updates.  

Long Story short, if you do step 1, you follow with Step 2, but you should only ever need to do
step 1 once.


** VISTA USERS/Windows 7/Windows 8 **
Be sure to be running with Administrative Rights.
